Hello! My name is Jaime LeRoy and I am so excited to be the librarian here at Northwest High School. I started my career as a high school English teacher, and have been a librarian for the last eight years. I wanted to become a librarian because growing up, I hated reading. I hated it because no one ever took the time to help me find a book I could lose myself in. In high school, I had an English teacher who took the time and now I am an avid reader. I love YA books and have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with the Harry Potter series. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English-education from the University of Texas in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in library science in 2009. I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and my favorite season is football season–HOOK EM!
Hello my name is Mrs. Vandergriff. I am starting my thirteenth year here at Northwest High School. The first three and half years where spent working in special education. I found my love for reading after transferring into the library. I like reading dystopian for pleasure but can usually be found reading Christian non fiction. I have been happily married to my husband Andrew for twenty one years. We have a nineteen year old daughter named Judith who is attending Tarrant County college.
